Every link goes to the official publisher. The market statistics belong to the real estate boards that publish them; assessment figures belong to each municipality. None of these sources produces an opinion of market value for your specific property, and none replaces an appraisal where a signed one is required.

In areas where more transactions happen outside the board, acreages and smaller communities especially, published figures may not capture all activity. It is one reason an appraisal verifies individual sales rather than relying on summaries.
Assessment look-ups and maps, town by town
Most of the smaller towns, villages and counties in our region publish their assessment information through one shared search engine. In the corridor that includes High River, Nanton, Claresholm, Fort Macleod, Coaldale, Coalhurst, Nobleford, Picture Butte, Taber, Vulcan Town and County, Willow Creek M.D., Carstairs, Cremona, Olds, Sundre, Bowden, Innisfail, Penhold, Sylvan Lake, Red Deer City and County, Chestermere, Crossfield, Irricana and Beiseker. Agree to the site’s disclaimer, pick your municipality, and search.
Official sourceAssessed values describe market value as at July 1 of the previous year, in the condition of the property at December 31, because Alberta legislation fixes those dates. An assessment is not an opinion of your property’s current market value, and the gap between the two is normal. Towns not listed yet: tell us and we will add the links.
